4 one-pot dishes that you make quickly and efficiently
It takes approx. 3 minutes to read this article

One-pot dishes are a great solution for people who do not like to cook. Simple composition, quick execution and good taste are the characteristics of these dishes.

A big advantage of one-pot dishes is the fact that to prepare them we only need a pot. They do not require washing many dishes.

Sweet potato and tomato dish

To prepare this dish you will need:

  • 500 grams of sweet potatoes,
  • a vegetable stock cube,
  • 400 grams of canned tomatoes,
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon,
  • 200 grams of orange cherry tomatoes,
  • 150 grams of leek,
  • 1 chili pepper,
  • 2 tbsp oil.

Peel the potatoes and wash thoroughly. Cut them into large cubes as for soup. Cut the leek into slices. Remove the seeds from the pepper and chop finely. Fry the leek with oil and combine with potatoes and bell pepper. Pour 400 ml of water into a pot, add canned tomatoes and a stock cube

The dish should boil until the potatoes are soft. Finally, add the halved cherry tomatoes and cinnamon. Cook for an additional few minutes until the cinnamon is absorbed.

Green Pancakes

The necessary ingredients are:

  • 5 eggs,
  • 100 g fresh spinach,
  • a package of bulgur cutlets,
  • half a teaspoon of nutmeg,
  • half a teaspoon of black pepper,
  • 100 ml milk,
  • 100 ml of sparkling water,
  • a teaspoon of salt,
  • green bell pepper,
  • a clove of garlic,
  • 125 g wheat flour,
  • 350 ml boiling water,
  • 3 tablespoons of natural cream cheese,
  • a tablespoon of butter,
  • half a bunch of parsley,
  • a few leaves of fresh basil,
  • bunch of chives,
  • 4 tablespoons of oil for frying.

Method of preparation:

Dough:

Rinse the spinach thoroughly, tear it into smaller pieces and put it into a larger dish, preferably a bowl. Add whole eggs, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Blend everything until smooth. Add water, milk, 100 g flour to the batter and mix with a whisk.

Stuffing:

In a pot in butter, fry finely chopped garlic and paprika. After a while add the bulgur porridge cutlet ingredients and add 350 ml of boiling water. Stir for a few minutes over low heat. When the stuffing is ready, remove from heat, add parsley, basil and cheese.

The pancake batter should thicken after several minutes. If you think it is too thin, add a bit of flour. Fry the pancakes until they are browned

Put the ready stuffing into the pancake, and wrap it in a roll or in a pocket. A good suggestion is to brown them in the oven before serving and add basil.

Indian curry with lentils and rice

Ingredients needed:

  • 2 carrots,
  • 400 g basmati rice,
  • 1 tbsp. Garam Masala and curry seasoning,
  • can of red lentils,
  • 2 tbsp olive oil,
  • 100 g sugar snap peas,
  • 150 g thick yogurt.

Method of preparation:

Wash the carrots, peel, cut into posts and fry in a pan with oil. Add spices, drained lentils, peas and cooked rice. Add yoghurt before serving.

Pasta with spinach

Ingredients:

  • 400 g frozen spinach,
  • 150 g Falvit cheese,
  • 400 g penne pasta,
  • basil, pepper, salt,
  • 1 onion,
  • 3 cloves of garlic.

Preparation:

Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in a pan. Add the frozen spinach and wait until it releases its water and the whole sauce thickens. In a pot cook penne pasta and add the spinach. Finally add the cheese and stir until it melts. Season the whole thing with salt and pepper and add basil before serving.
