Iced coffee on a hot day is not only a fantastic way to cool down the body, but also a delicious drink. You don’t necessarily have to go to a coffee shop to drink it, you can prepare it yourself at home and in many different ways. We checked a few of them and you have to admit that each one is delicious! Here’s how to prepare iced coffee at home!
On hot days, few people feel like drinking hot coffee. Then any way to cool down is at a premium. Iced coffee will be perfect, which not only cools you down, but on top of that pleasantly stimulates your body to action. What recipes for this drink can you make yourself at home? There are several proven ones!
The easiest, and at the same time very tasty way to make iced coffee is to prepare it in a jar. For this you can use either flavored cappuccino, instant coffee, or freshly brewed coffee that you have previously prepared in a coffee machine or espresso machine. Add cold milk, ice cubes and coffee to the jar. Thoroughly cap the jar and shake it firmly and rhythmically until all the cubes have broken down. Then a foam will also form, which will taste great on your coffee. Just pour the whole thing into a tall glass, place a straw in it and decorate as you like. We guarantee that you will love this way.
Use a blender to prepare this coffee. Put ice cubes inside the vessel, pour the previously brewed coffee and add sweetened milk. Don’t forget a hint of mint. However, if you prefer a sweeter version, vanilla flavoring will work better. However, remember not to overdo it with it. Blend the whole thing on medium speed until a nice froth is formed. You can decorate such coffee with whipped cream on top. Yum!
Coffee in this form can be decorated in many different ways. You can also bet on something completely modern and combine coffee with a chilled tonic. Such a combination is reserved only for gourmets and has a really exceptionally intense aroma. In this case, the type of coffee is very important. Choose the high-quality one and brew it with a pressure café. Grind the seeds beforehand to get the best out of them. Then set the coffee aside to cool. In a second glass, place the chilled tonic, leaving room for the coffee, of course. Add the ice cubes in their entirety, so that they are in the glass at all times while drinking and further chill the drink. Pour coffee over the whole thing and stir. Such a drink without the addition of milk certainly gives you an “energy kick”, and on top of that it cools down the body pleasantly. It is certainly worth trying it.
