Zucchini is not only healthy, but also very tasty Zucchini fries are a less caloric alternative to classic potato French fries. Get inspired by our recipe for a delicious snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium zucchini,
  • 50 g grated yellow cheese,
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • egg,
  • 4 spoonfuls of breadcrumbs,
  • spices to your liking: marjoram, basil, herbs de Provence, half a teaspoon of salt,

Step by step

Wash, dry and cut zucchini in half and then give it a form of fries (like potato French fries). Pour breadcrumbs into one dish and beat eggs into another. Add olive oil and spices and mix well. Line a baking tray with baking paper and set the oven temperature to 220 degrees. Coat each piece of zucchini in breadcrumbs, then soak in eggs and coat in breadcrumbs again. When ready to bake, place the fries side by side on a baking sheet. Bake the zucchini fritters for about 20 minutes until the coating is lightly browned. Enjoy!
